Used for immersing body parts into ice to test effects of frostbite. Before building an area specially for the purpose of frostbite study they would just tie people to posts or trees outside for days in the siberian winters

Hi All, Brought tears to my eyes today. What can you say? Mankinds cruelty knows no bounds. The horrors of what the Japanese did in World War II are on full display here.
