6/1/2012 Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Ram Hotel in Ayodhya is nominated, seconded and unanimously voted India's noisiest hotel. Ayodhya is allegedly the birthplace of Rama, the god of all Hindu gods. Welcome to my travel blog. At the beginning of November my wife and I booked a flight to Manila to spend a month travelling around the central Philippines. It's mid November and the horrifying news of Typhoon Yolanda is around the globe. I have been to the Philippines before and know the Philippinos to be an ultra resilient people. We leave on the 28th of December and it seems unlikely that our plans will not be affected by the unfolding tragedy. I am however going to try to post as frequently as possible.... full info
