Typical view around the main plaza of Xela. Inside the building is a popular bar run by a Dutch guy and inside the kiosk (stone cirkel) we had an open discussion organized by a Britsh guy. The discussion was about the education of gangmembers in Guatemala. A good try, but the fact that it is organized by a foreigner says enough.

Ten eerst even een opmerking: Ik heb de foto´s van de vorige twee updates eindelijk geplaatst. Uiteraard had ik weer net de verkeerde dag uitgekozen om vanuit San Cristobal (Chiapas, Mexico) te vertrekken naar Quetzaltenango (ofwel Xela, Guatemala).
