Rolling fireworks.....

The pile of cardboard cones is a part of Alba's daily work. She is required to glue and roll 2,000 cardboard cones before noon each day. The cones are then passed to another family to stuff them and another family to pack them for sale. Approximately 30 families participate in this assembly work. For every 1,000 cones, Alba makes $1.80. She said it is difficult some days with 2 young children and with the living costs being so expensive (electricity, food, water).

Buenas dias! Bright and early, we were ready to work! We met up with Arturo in the hotel lobby to head to Pastor Fransisco's for desayuno. The ladies had cafe, pancakes y leche ready for us.
