But she needs help. This area was once lush with trees, but because people need firewood to cook, there are few remaining which has in turn cut the rainy season and drained the once consistent flow of the river. But if you look closely at the bottom, you can see seedlings sprouting. Nature finds a way, it just needs some help.

I couldn’t wait to get to Shinyanga and start working. And after a week of being in Shinyanga, I’m still waiting to work.
