9 am: After traveling since 5am the previous day, I was greeted at the airport by a sign with my name written on it. We hopped in the car and drove to Baveno (40 minutes north of Milan on Lake Maggiore) to the home of Bruna, Mario, Gian Paolo, and Alberto. This would be my home as well over the next couple weeks.
