Gallipoli 57th Regiment Cemetery

This regiment was left to defend their position with no ammo. Ataturk asked them to fight with their bayonets and he asked them to die defending their land.

Today was the day we were going to Istanbul and we had only one stop on the agenda, which was to stop at the Gallipoli Peninsula. This location is very historic for Turkey, for during World War I they defended this land against the Allied invasion.
