DC National Gallery of Art and "gourmet" pizza June 14th 2011 Saturday June 11 DC day Day 8
Today went to the National Gallery of Art on the Mall. It is massive and has 2 large buildings connected by an underground moving sidewalk. The West Wing houses European and American Art from the 13th to the 19th centuries. The east Wing Houses 20th century art. I invested almost the entire day there and it was exhausting.
