Everyone is a lot friendlier in Laos. Tris said that Lao people were coming up to them at the bar to chat, and hang out. Even walking the streets they will smile and say hello. It isn't as commercialized as Thailand. Nothing is built FOR tourists, so it seems. Lao people are in the restaurants that we go, Lao people are at the bars we go too.
