Shanghai 14-16th April May 2nd 2011 So, we left Beijing at 10.15 pm for our 14 hour night train to Shanghai. I tried to explain to our guide that to travel on a train for so long in England would involve travelling the length of the country and back at least once, but i'm not sure he grasped my point! Currently travelling around the world (well some of it) with Mrs Clayton (wife, not mother!).
So far we have been to (in order, shocking planning!):
China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Borneo, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand (again), Malaysia (again) Indonesia (again), Singapore and by Christmas we will be in sunny Sydney!
