Vientiane visa run and Bangkok Due to our lack of research which meant we only had a 15 day visa exemption in Thailand we made a visa run to Vientiane from Chiang Mai. The journey to Vientiane was interesting which included two monks, a temperamental engine, a local bus with a 1 hour karaoke stop and a tuk tuk dash!
