I am starting this blog from scratch as the auto saved text doesn't seem accessible.The journey through Bulgaria was accomplished very easily and 7 hours after leaving home(10.30pm) I was parked up for the first rest stop just short of the Serbian border. 2 hours later I was crossing over into Serbia.I positioned myself at the end of the queue (of lorries) wondering how long it would take to cross ... read more

I am a 60 year old adventurer(mum and grandmum) and I am about to begin the next stage of a chequered life.I have sold my house in N.Ireland to emigrate to Bulgaria. I will be traveling across Europe visiting family and friends on the way in a campervan - height of luxury as I have always camped under canvass previously.Knowing no Bulgarian and travelling on a shoestring I have already had many adventures(laced with problems)last October my 1st visit ever, but was so taken with the country and people I would have liked just to have stayed put -however yet again money reared it's ugly head so ... full info
