So, on the road, we spent our first night travelling with Mauritzio, Mirella and kids, a lovely family of Italian descent (Mauritzio is/was a chef -awesome food) that we met on the first half of our journey. This is the halfway point or more like the three quarter point of our holiday of a lifetime. We left Cairns 16 months ago and had an absolute ball travelling across the top end and down the west coast, the people we met and the times we had were worth every cent of our last dollar that we spent before arriving in Perth.
