Walking the Freedom Trail in Boston 7 Old Corner Bookstore Building, Nov12 2010

The brick landmark building at the corner of School Street and Washington Street stands on a plot once owned by Mary Hutchinson, a religious reformer who was expelled from Massachusetts in 1638 for heresy. Built in 1718, the Bookstore Building was long home to a publishing house and later a bookstore.

Walking the Freedom Trail in Boston

Today I had to bring my roommate to the airport so I took the occasion to stay for the day in Boston. I decided to walk the Freedom trail. It is a 2,5 mile (4km) long path through downtown Boston that passes 16 of the city's historic landmarks.
