Peak hour traffic and the Louvre

This is one of the busiest streets in Paris: Avenue des Champs-Elysees. It is eight lanes wide and that is only half the width of the street. The other half is dedicated to foot paths and outdoor cafes.

Our agenda for Thursday was all set and we were prepared for an early one. Except our alarm didn’t like the idea of having to wake up at 5am so it slept in… and as a result so did we.
