Out of Brazil into the deep south

After arriving at the quaint colonial town of Paraty, we located our hostel along a cobbled street only to have our Brazilian, Portuguese speaking, hostess block the door and pull a scrap of paper out of her pocket that said OTHER HOSTEL.
