Due to the protest in Humahuaca, the buses to La Quiaca were delayed, and when they eventually left, there was standing room only. But the important thing was that it got us to La Quiaca on time. La Quiaca is the Argentinean border town, with Villazón (Bolivia) on the other side of the river. Nothing to see or do in La Quiaca; it was more or less a ghost town.
