Today we drove through Joshua Tree National Park on our way to San Diego, CA. Now we really know what U2 was actually talking about. The park was beautiful and very interesting. The pictures of the trees will explain everything. The Joshua Tree only grows a 1/2" every year so you will be able to tell how old some of them are.
