The calm before the storm

It looked so much more ominous when you were under it - and much more black. The intense thunder added to it as well.

Holy smokes....... it feels like this day lasted a week. It was very eventful. We got off the plane in Frankfurt with no plans at all. We knew we wanted to get to the mountains but I didn't know what that looked like yet.
