Yukata Everywhere!

Yukata is the summer kimono. The Japanese are not so good at matching the fabric with their bows, shoes and bags - it was quite annoying!

Kyoto Protocol - Must carry fan!

Evidence of bloglag here...sorry, too many journals to catch up on!! Saturday Shinkansen from Shizuoka to Kyoto only took 1hr 40mins. We hired bicycles and rode around Kyoto, making our way to Gion.
