Today, visitors are less aware of the famous narrow street that yesteryear was an iconic visitors' favourite haunt, where the pretty ladies came to show off their delights and small boys would challenge the visitors to a game of naughts and crosses, losing usually badly every time! Today it is just a traders market reflecting just some of the bygone days.
