This tramway is billed as the "world's longest tramway" and ascends 2.7 miles to the top of Sandia Peak at 10,378 feet. It's easy to get to this place from downtown Albuquerque. Parking is only $1 and an adult round trip ticket is $20. There's a restaurant at the bottom where one boards the tram and one at the top.
