Escaped The Volcano

Finally left Banos today after waking up in the night with the whole room shaking and doors banging. All morning the volcano was rumbling ominously so after cancelling our parasailing we got on a bus to riobamba. 2 hours later upon arriving here we look back and can see an enormous plume of volcanic ash hanging in the sky so it looks like we made a lucky escape.
