I had to have a little cry when we reached this view. Not only because we had just climbed 1200m (from our camp at 3600m to this spot at 4800m), but also at the absolute beauty of Peru and our planet
as exhilerating and calm as an ocean's wave

I waited patiently for the perfect wave to wash over my sun burned feet and to pull the sand away from underneath my blisters, it came unexpectedly and rushed away quickly to join the surfers, the lone pelican and the other cool waves of the pacific.
