I remembered exploring the Royal Botanical Garden of Edinburgh several years ago, and talked about it to Mark. He agreed to visit there on 18 May. The weather forecast sounded unsettled so we carried umbrellas. The extensive roadworks for tram lines caused a lot of chaos to traffic and public transport.
