Porta do sol

Sunset in Salvador, one of the only places where you can see the sun set over the sea, because the city is set on a pennisula that curves around a bay. Therefore you look west over the water, unlike most of the Atlantic coast in Brazil.

To make a long story short, I managed to get robbed within my first hour in Salvador. To make this short story longer, I arrived by bus from Lençóis early Sunday morning, before 6:00 am.
