In the space of a week we saw two amazing things: Colca Canyon (twice as deep as the grand canyon and second deepest on earth) and Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world at over 4000m). We both decided we wanted to travel somewhere that was unusual before we both started "proper" jobs. Tom had travelled to Brazil last year for University work and really wanted to see more. George loves the look of it too and wants to practice her Spanish! Our trip generally goes North to South starting in Cuba and ending in Buenos Aires and lasts about three months.
