The taxi ride from the port at Camanaus to Soa Gabriel took about 20-30 minutes, and the scenery was spectacular. The tropical landscape surrounding the houses and farms that we passed on our way by, reminded me of some ritzy, luxurious tropical paradise, like a cross between Miami and Costa Rica.
