We partly chose Fox over the bigger busier Franz-Joseph glacier because of its proximity to Lake Matheson - the mirror lake that we has heard was fantastic to run around. We've been planning to do this trip for years but somehow never got around to it until now... We've spent hours planning and researching, Daz reading all the guide books and Loz trawling the net...
