Taberna la Muralla

Ignace St. #368, located at the corner of Muralle and Plaza Vieja, this is the only place in Havana where you can get draught beer. They produce the beer on site, and you can order a tower of beer for the table, fitted with a tap. The terrace of this bar is therefore always very busy. The beer is VERY good.

There have been a few changes since the last time we visited Havana in 2005. The biggest is the amount of building restorations. There is still much work to be done of course, as many beautiful pieces of architecture appear to be on the verge of collapse - but the restorations that have taken place are magnificent, and the city looks so much better for it.
