Wow, today has been one incredibly long, challenging day! We woke up at 2:30 a.m. to get ready for our 3:00 a.m. pickup by Colonial Tours to start our 3 day Colca Canyon trek. We were picked up by a large van that ended up with about 14 people in it, which seemed a little odd to me since our group was supposed to be 5 or 6 max, and more likely just the 2 of us.
