This is a picture of the tunnel from inside the igloo. A tunnel is used here because it acts as a cold sink keeping the warm air inside the igloo.

Greetings from Antarctica! The last few weeks have been action-packed and very enjoyable. We have had a few strong storms and the temperatures have been getting colder - It was -31°F with a -78°F Wind Chill last Sunday.
