they are gorgeous!! i had a day trip out to giverny (in normandy) to see the house and gardens that claude monet lived in for about 50 years. he painted all the famous ones there eg waterlillies, the japanese bridge etc. it's such a nice place. i took a train to vernon (about a 45 min trip) then a 15 min bus ride into giverny. it was lovely weather today. sunny but a little bit cool, so perfect fo ... read more
