The drive from Lexington through eastern Kentucky, into West Virginia, the top (Panhandle) of Maryland and on to Gettysburg, PA is beautiful, especially in spring with redbuds in bloom on the hillsides and Bradford Pear, apple, and Japanese cherry trees in abundance. We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company.
