Three things to notice in this pic: 1) Emerald Lake Lodge complex, bottom left 2) Large maroon swathe of forest due to the dead trees killed by the Mountain Pine Beetle, left side of mountain 3) Avalanche path down center of mountain--only small flexible plants can grow here.

Yo Ho Ho! Hurray for Yoho - National Park!
