Istanbul - Our first taste of the Middle East

April 23rd 2005
This was one of our first big trips out of the UK and we almost didn’t come, due to funding. Again we pulled together and made it for the 90th anniversary of the ANZAC’s at Gallipoli, ANZAC Cove. Based out of Istanbul for 8 days, with a 2-day trip to the Gallipoli on the 25th April. We ventured around the city. Living of 50p kebabs and bottled water.
