View of the Duomo

About two thirds of the way up the 414 steps of the bell tower we took this picture of the Duomo. It's so large a structure, it's impossible to get the entire thing in one picture.

Day 1 Our first day in Florence was mostly settling in. After we checked into our hotel, we decided to go get tickets for the Uffizi Gallery for the next day.
