All volunteers assembled, we were ready to head off. Some had come before others, but time was of the essence and much training was to be done on the fly. The current endeavor has me working as a director for a small humanitarian aid organization. Project MARC is a non-governmental organization that provides medical assistance to remote communities in island nations. The projects we do range from building clinics to installing water systems to vaccinating children.
