Ramses II and his wife

Ramses II was the 3rd Egyptian Pharaoh of the 19th dynasty. His is often regarded as Egypt's greatest, most celebrated, and most poverfull pharaoh. He became king in his eary 20s and ruled Egypt form 1278 - 1213 BC. He was burried i the Valley of the Kings and now you can see his mummyfied body in the Egyptian museum

For my 2009 birthday my mother and I went to Egypt. We arrived on the 6th June in Luxor, where we spent 2 days exploring. We then took a flight via Ciro to Sharam El-Shaykh where we took a taxi to Dahab For 4 days Dahab was our base allowing us to go to Mount Sinai, Petra (in Jordan) and snorkeling at the blue hole!
