Imperial Palace

From the remains of the palace.. Japan really has a problem with buildings burning down. Every place we read about in Edo Tokyo Museum had been burned down and rebuilt multiple times. Then Tokyo was completely destroyed in WWII and rebuilt afterwards... then there was an earthquake in the 1960s that destroyed a lot of Tokyo, and it was rebuilt yet again. Also, the punishment for arson during the Edo period was being burned to death.
