Started the day at 7:30 am with Scottish John. Went for breakfast soup “B____”, then checked out a palace. Went to visit John’s friend Abdullah. They recounted tales of yesteryear when they were both booze-hounds. Apparently John did a lot of opium and heroine in the past. Abdullah invited us both to dinner at 3 pm. In the summer of 2007 I backpacked through North and West Africa. Flying from London's Luton Airport I arrived in Morocco on the 14th of May, 2007. In mid-September I caught a Air Ghana Flight from Accra, Ghana to London - Gatwick. During these four months I passed through nine countries, winding my way from Marrakech to Accra.
