Mekong River

From Chiang Mai we headed north to the border with Laos. After crossing the river and changed some Baht for some kip, we boarded the slow boat for the 2 day voyage to Luang Prabang. If I was expecting a big paddle steamer with deckchairs and a casino, I was in store for a shock. It was small, cramed and noisy, but more of an experince for it I suppose.
