Luang Prabang was one of the places I was most excited about seeing on this trip. It is the cultural heart of Laos and a truly beautiful town. An UNESCO World Heritage site, the historic section is where the Nam Song River and Mekong River converge. While heavily touristed, it was done with more style and grace than I saw in Thailand.
