Loads to talk about but owing to a slight hiccup, basically the electricity is restricted to 4 hours a day and a change of plan in having to fly to Kathmandu rather than bus it, we haven't at the moment got the facility to write much now. With another 10 years until retirement I have decided to take a 10 week sabbatical, starting on 26th January until 5th April 09. G has only managed 6 weeks off work so I am starting without him! I am leaving for Australia with a longstanding friend Sheelagh and after 2 days in Singapore, travel to Melbourne to stay with our mutual friend Barbara. I then plan to meet G in Delhi on 22nd February and we are hoping to train and bus around Rajasthan and then onto Agra and Varanassi, bussing it to Katmandu and then back to Delhi and on to the Keralla backwaters in South India.
