Wow what an amazing experience! Yesterday we climbed/hiked up the Franz Josef Glacier - for 6 and a half hours! Got kitted out in our hiking gear (check out the lovely pic) and then got dropped off near the glacier. Had to walk for 45 minutes through rocks and rainforest before we started the climb.
