Wind

In my opinion, the biggest weather issue around here is the wind. It just howls. If there is no wind the clear sunny skies make a very pleasant, even if chilly, day. But when the wind is blowing, you just freeze. It may not be obvious in this picture but the smoke is blowing straight across the sky. With the large single pane windows we have in the offices and apartments, it gets really cold. Standing outside on Monday mornings is no pleasure when the wind is up.

Well, we are still at it here in China! It has been quite a time since my last blog entry and all of a sudden, it is Christmas.
