We spent 2 nights in San Juan. The Tres Palmas is a dump. $97 per night. Awful! The 26 we left Guayanilla in the am, saying very tearful goodbyes to Hector and Rosita. Then we went to the Club of Pescadores, to say our final goodbyes, this was bad. Very emotional. Latin people are so emotional. Upon Pete's retirement in 2005, decision was made to go South on the boat. We will take it one day at a time. One island at a time. See how far we get. Unfortunately it was late in the season, so we took of on the land boat instead for 6 months.
