Fabric heaven

If you love markets, crowds and noise, then the Chandni Chowk area in Old Delhi is for you. Brenda and I visited it one Saturday morning and lasted about 20 minutes before we couldn't take it anymore. I can't describe it any better than the following quote from the “Lonely Planet” travel book: "The pandemonium of Old Delhi's convoluted bazaars is a head spinning assault on the senses, with a mind-bending array of things to see and an aromatic muddle of flowers, urine, incense, chai, fumes and frying food, all discernible in one whiff." Yup...
