Just left Cairns after 5 nights but had a really good time there. Cairns is quite a small country town, not too modern but lots of bars, restaurants and it has a lovely esplande and lagoon. Spent a couple of days lounging around the lagoon, its right by the sea but nicer water and no sand!!! chilled out by the lagoon with a paper.
