Our first stop in Japan was Narita, a small but quaint town with some stunning temples of its own. Photos show the temples in the evening dusk, the area had a peaceful atmosphere. Next we headed north to Nikko on the impressively efficient and spotless Shinkansen trains (high speed trains). Nikko is in the lake district of Japan.
